✔ We are following recommendations from Governor Scott, Vermont Department of Health, Vermont Department of Licensing and Protection and the CDC as it relates to best practices against the COVID-19 virus.
✔ Common area cleaning protocols have been increased.
✔ Visitation has been suspended to all residents except for residents receiving end-of-life care. Visitors must complete screening questionnaire and will limit their movement to the resident’s apartment and minimize interaction with others in the community.
✔ Admissions have been put on hold.
✔ All residents are checked daily for temperature and symptoms to include signs of respiratory infection.
✔ All staff must wash their hands and complete a temperature check and wellness screening when they report to work. In the event they become ill during their shift, they are advised to immediately wear a mask, inform their supervisor and leave the building.
✔ All staff are instructed to stay home when sick.
✔ All staff are trained in infection prevention and control measures including hand hygiene.
✔ The dining room has been closed with all meals being delivered to each apartment. Snacks, as well as beverages for hydration, are also being delivered.
✔ All group activities and group outings have been suspended. Transportation to non-essential medical appointments has been discontinued and rescheduled for a more appropriate time. We are working with health care providers and residents for “virtual” appointments.
✔ Regular communications are provided in order to update and inform residents and families on the latest operational changes and directives from healthcare and medical experts.
