✔ We are following recommendations from Governor Scott, Vermont Department of Health, Vermont Department of Licensing and Protection and the CDC as it relates to best practices against the COVID-19 virus.
✔ Common area cleaning protocols have been increased.
✔ Visitation is available by appointment in our designated visitation areas in order to minimize interaction with others in the community. All visitors must complete and pass screening questionnaire to gain access to community.
✔ All new admissions must observe a 14 day quarantine.
✔ All residents are checked at least daily for temperature and symptoms to include signs of respiratory infection.
✔ All staff must wash their hands and complete a temperature check and wellness screening when they report to work. In the event they become ill during their shift, inform their supervisor and leave the building.
✔ All staff are instructed to stay home when sick.
✔ All staff are trained in infection prevention and control measures including hand hygiene.
✔ The dining room is open for midday and dinner meals with distanced tables and increased cleaning protocols. (Breakfast continues to be delivered to each apartment).
✔ Group activities and sight seeing rides are being offered to limited group sizes with mandatory mask use. Transportation to medical appointments is occurring with mandatory mask use. We continue to work with health care providers and residents for “virtual” appointments.
✔ Regular communications are provided in order to update and inform residents and families on the latest operational changes and directives from healthcare and medical experts.
